It's fine, I've built many stance cars in my day (paid not by choice). But when it's a Porsche or M3 "performance vehicle" it always bothered me a little bit. But if they paid me, fuck it, stance a Lotus Exige with a bunch of tiiire streeetch for all I care, just pay up front kiddos :]

Can no none build a car the way THEY like it without being antagonized? How sure can you be that it was for street cred and swag and not just because he liked it that way? Goes both ways. To me it's still a beautiful driving machine and it looks as though it drove there just fine. Shit, he may have even enjoyed that drive but fuck him if he didn't build it to your exact specs.

Haha, I was kind of just basing the age the typical age of stance people. I see what you mean, and I think it's great that people are being creative with their cars; but, now it's a bunch of people doing it because it's the cool thing to do. I mean, I'll probably never be able to own a 911. But it just makes me so frustrated that someone who does have that privilege can't appreciate the car enough to let it retain its driving characteristics! It's like seeing that girl you like go out with that douchey guy, lol. Don't take the hellaflush posts here too seriously, though. It's just a battle we have for the novelty of it all.

yeah I know how oppo feels about stance, I've been here long enough. In reality all cars have a "stance" it's just the way they sit, be it low or lifted. I probably drive one of the more "stanced" cars on here. I feel if quality parts are used the driving characteristics can be improved even if it is less aesthetically pleasing to some.

I know what you mean. By "stance," I'm referring specifically to the trend. I thought certain automotive cultures involving lowered cars were cool until every 20-something with daddy's money or a pair of pliers had to have one! If they're done right they can still be cool, but some cars should just be enjoyed for what they are. The 911 is one of them IMO. If that's your avant in your profile pic, it's definitely well done!
